Meganelizabeth Diamond is an artist working across photography, sculpture, new media and installation. Her practice transforms fleeting images of the sky into layered, material forms, merging analog and digital processes to explore impermanence, perception, and collective experience. Through experimental printing, casting, and image-building techniques, she investigates the shifting boundaries between representation and abstraction, surface and space.

Diamond is the Executive & Artistic Director at PLATFORM centre for photographic & digital arts in Winnipeg, MB. They are the current Chair of the Board of Directors for Buffalo Berry Press / BlackFlash Magazine. Meg directed the Winnipeg Underground Film Festival from 2019 until 2022.

Her work has been exhibited and screened nationally, including at Deluge Contemporary Art (Victoria), Capture Photography Festival (Vancouver), Confederation Centre for the Arts (Charlottetown), and LightField (San Fransico). Diamond’s recent and forthcoming projects, such as GLIMPSE (Godfrey Dean Gallery, 2026) and Sky Burn (artist book in development), expand her long-term engagement with atmospheric observation, fluidity, and materiality. Her work has been supported by the Manitoba Arts Council, Winnipeg Arts Council, and the Canada Council for the Arts.
